Carola Hilfrich is Senior Lecturer in Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has edited a book, with Stéphane Moses, on theories and practices of cross-cultural encounters (Niemeyer 1997), written a book on representation in early Jewish German modernity (Fink 2000) and articles on the aesthetics and politics of late modern literatures from cultural contact zones. Currently, she works on ghostwriting as a trope of world literature.
