Mads Rosendahl Thomsen (PhD 2002) is Associate Professor in Comparative Literature at Aarhus University, Denmark. He is the director of the Danish Network for Cultural Memory Studies, the author of Mapping World Literature: International Canonization and Transnational Literatures (Continuum 2008, pb. 2010), and a co-editor of the forthcoming World Literature: A Routledge Reader. Currently he is writing a book, to be published with Continuum, entitled The New Human in Literature: Visions of Changes in Body, Mind, and Society since 1900.
