Ivan Stacy is Senior Lecturer in English at Royal Thimphu College in Bhutan, where he teaches twentieth-century, American and folk literature. He was awarded his Ph.D. from Newcastle University (UK) in 2013 for a thesis examining complicity in W. G. Sebald and Kazuo Ishiguro. He has presented and published on both Ishiguro and Sebald, and has also edited a volume on the American TV series The Wire.
